Review:

This coffee has tasting notes of plums, raisins and jaggery. The roaster mentions raisins, plums and creamy as the tasting notes. This is one of the best coffees I have come across this year. From visual inspection of the beans to the complexity in the cup, each and every aspect seems to have been passed through rigorous quality control. The cup has a red-wine like color to it. It has a strong heady aroma of sweets and berries. When brewed with the right parameters, the cup starts easy with a jammy note of plum and berries which increases in strength as you move along the length of the cup. It has a medium to heavy body which falls perfectly with the balance of the cup. An underlying jaggery/sugarcane like sweetness runs along the entirety of the cup and is highlighted in the aftertaste. I absolutely loved this aftertaste. Another brilliant aspect about this coffee is that as the temperature reduces, it becomes all the more flavoursome. Almost like biting into a plum. Loved every single moment of brewing this coffee. An absolute blockbuster.
